Son (10) comes to ask if I knew his friend was adopted. I told him I had my suspicions. He asked how I knew and I explained since her hair was different than her single moms. And, that she's Asian, while her mother isn't.

3yr old bumped into a wall and starts crying.

10 (hockey player) looks at him and tells him to "play a contact sport!"

Son got 3 shutouts this weekend. Has only allowed 2 goals in his last 5 games. He made a bet for the season of $50/shutout. Will have to renegotiate his contract next year!
