If you’re entering a cab and anyone tells you to enter for them to sit at your position, that they’d drop somewhere close, don’t enter that cab.
Day before yesterday, I entered a cab from Rumuola to Mile One around 3 p.m. to go get beads I’d use for work. (People in Port Harcourt know where I’m talking about.)
When I opened and was about entering the back seat, a pregnant woman came down from the back and pleaded that she’d drop at the next junction and wouldn’t want me to inconvenience myself when she wants to go down because I’d have to come down for her to leave, then enter back. We were already three at the back.
A young man sat at the back, then me and this pregnant woman.
Then at the front was a young male driver and two young girls between the ages of 22–25.
We’d gotten to the next junction where this pregnant woman said she’d drop, but she didn’t tell the driver to stop the car, and I didn’t bother because I don’t know her location. I felt she could decide to come down where she feels. I think that was my first mistake.
I noticed that nobody came down till I asked the driver to drop me.
It was at that point the pregnant woman brought out Kala and asked me to give her what was in my bag……..

When we looked at consistent uptime — the metric that truly separates node runners from spectators — a clear winner emerged.
Crew ACK, leveraging its high percentage of Validator/Node Operator runners, demonstrated unparalleled endurance and technical stability.
ACK: Led the daily uptime ranking for 14 out of the 21 days of the Gridcrew competition, accumulating 333 hours as the leader (68.66%).
FIN: Showed strong operational discipline, holding the top spot for 151 hours.
SYN: SYN led the daily rankings for only one single hour across the entire competition, holding the top spot for zero full days.
Congrats to the ACK crew and thanks to all Node Runners for participating.
Gridcrews team medal images and videos are now listed in the Gridcrews Finale collection. You can mint yours (or all of them, if you prefer) to commemorate Season 1: https://t.co/igyarR1FUh
