Some new DOOM The Dark Ages DLC info:
- There will be a hub! (the Kreed Maykr ship probably?)
- Every mechanic that they will add will really make a difference (like how the Hammer was in TAG)
- Exploration will be prioritized in the DLC
@LEOO_SWIFT There's a literal blink and you'll miss moment where he looks up, presumedly at the chandelier, so he makes the archer guy shoot that, and make her death look accidental
TL'DR it's the single moment where him being a bad guy is shown
@stroggster very late reply but regardless.
my point that I was making that everthing about ranger from QC, is everything doomguy is from the classic games
thats why I made the daisy family comparison, thats just one aspect they share including more
On the backstory thing, uh no? Doomguys been like that since doom 1 to 64, barring that doomguy wasn't confirmed to have a family, but he still had daisy which rangers family is an equivalent to in QC basically
And ranger didn't have a backstory in quake 1 either much
Ranger has all the reasons to hate the Slayer:
1. he took his slipgates
2. he took his backstory bestowed to him in QC
3. he took his weapons, especially melee
4. he took the realm-hopping (his job)
5. and he even took the Lovecraft
Very cool choice to make Marok an apparent antagonist in DOOM Revelations, because we know that The Slayer (allegedly) does not kill him.
It’ll be interesting to see how this conflict plays out, and if he dies by Hell’s hand in this story or perhaps a future expansion.
I'm not saying this to shade specifically Insomniac's work but I wish mainstream consumers were more tolerant of stylized approaches. "Realistic = good" mentality makes it feel really restrictive that most AAA games are forced to shape their art styles around realism
This is an attempt to try to reach @RubberNinja and anyone else on the #GAMEOVERSE team who will listen.
I’m a chiptune artist, and I really wanna make music for the show. I’m very confident in what I could bring to the table for it’s soundtrack
Spread this around if you can.
Unironically I think having a character thats inspired by Rick Taylor from splatterhouse would unironically kinda fit gameoverse given how the original and reboot end
#gameoverse theory. I think that all the main characters are supposed to be based on different age ratings, with the fifth and final member of the team being based on an M rated game
