I got told a 5pm discharge was inappropriate this week. We should aim for before 11.
I was the only doctor on the ward. That morning I'd been with a sick patient for an hour whilst their systolic was 60.
I finished my WR alone, made the decision another pt was fit for discharge

Don't be unkind and justify it by having a lot on your plate. Everyone has a lot on their plate. That one word can do so much harm. Please be kind. The number of juniors I've seen who have cried/nearly cried/taken a sick day off after something like this is not okay.
