@KaneDusk@vxdb That is for gaming, for which linux is still harder to use for the average person and not all games work. For non gaming, daily use which mainly consists of having a desktop, a file explorer and a browser linux is way more accessible and does everything you need.
@CritterObserves@tekbog Part of tests were always that you at least detect changes in behavior. If you refactor code and suddenly a test fails, this is at least a hint you might did something wrong. But always better if you can actually write tests which can actually validate if your software is correct
@raphaellevipaul@ducciolvp I feel like long standing problems with a lot of work done already could be solved the same. Since via LLMs you can now combine and use all previous work and maybe the combination of everything already contains the solution, but it is just to hard to extract for a human.
@truthisfeared@NXT4EU@3DPBelgian With 50% meaning 360 of the total 720, not the amount of people who are available on that day. All scheduled short term this week to be voted on today, which is the last day before the summer break to do this kind of vote.
@truthisfeared@NXT4EU@3DPBelgian It is funny since the graphic just tells you what happened and that it is confusing you shows how ridiculous the whole thing is. That they flipped the vote to "reject chat control", so in order to "pass" you need more than 50% yes votes.
@CiCiYouLaterTTV Watching a streamer who just does it for fun, mainly just streams on the weekend during morning hours the same thing. Or streams randomly when he feels like it. Even with that kind of schedule he got partnered eventually which was nice since it meant more emote slots on twitch.
@Grim85RIP@Dexerto And there is still the option for the employer to just not request a doctors notice for the first few days. At my company this generally would just be too much overhead for 1-2 days sickness and also if you got to the doctor chances are high you will have the full week "off".
@SteveHinckley8@ModestTeacher It is funny that incredibly long time does not do justice to it even in the slightest. We are talking about numbers which are way outside any human comprehension and are basically infinite.
Nice video from Vsauce on this exact number https://t.co/3AIxmvfxAq
@EmpressMoniii@elegeia_ Under the hood it reduces animation locks to simulate 10ms ping. So reduces animation locks in relation to your ping. It really fixes the game for people on high ping. I wonder if SE will ever come around and fix their terrible netcode, so stuff like this is not needed anymore.
@AJ_Fallacious@whiskersspell@FishBowlOfWine Yeah it had issues in general. It started out so great with the world building but it went downhill way too fast. They had some good themes throughout all seasons here and there but the main plot consistently went down the wrong path it felt like.
@whiskersspell@FishBowlOfWine Aaron Ehasz who was had wirter season 1-3 for ATLA was not a writer for Korra. So seems like he was part of the secret sauce. But ATLA had the advantage that it was always planned to be 3 seasons. So we got one big cohesive story. Korra was just done season to season.
@SartenMr@Celsius233Books@FishBowlOfWine Was really a big issue they faced in terms of writing. Since every season had to introduce and resolve the conflict because it was unclear if another season would happen. Sadly meant themes between seasons changed massively and a lot of conflict just felt forced.
