What this means in simple terms
If a foreign couple has a baby in South Africa, the baby’s birth must be registered even if the parents are undocumented or overstayed their visas. The child must be issued a birth certificate recording the facts of their birth that can lately be used to register their children in their countries.
What it does not mean:
-It does not make the child a South African citizen.
-It does not give the parents legal status or permanent residence.
-It does not stop Home Affairs from deporting parents who are in the country unlawfully.
The judge specifically emphasized that birth registration does not automatically confer South African citizenship.
Good morning @PieterDuToit, where did you get this info from? The Madlanga Commission has now proven that it took National Commissioner Masemola 2 weeks to act upon receiving the recommendations from the CRO? Did you independently verify the info you were provided by Khan and Andrea or you have a special arrangement with them?
One of the best things about the Madlanga Commission is that it serves as a reminder that corruption has no race, despite what people would want you to believe, corruption has no skin colour! There is no morally superior race when it comes to this.
THIS IS EVERYTHING THAT IS WRONG WITH SOUTH AFRICA.
As encountered by Zandile Tshangane.
So this morning my niece got mugged, hit and almost rapped on her way to school by two boys. We then went to the police station to report the case so one of the guys asked us to sit down and we will be assisted.
This lady (on the picture) then comes and yells, why are we sitting where we are seated? We tried to explain but her attitude was already on steroids.
We proceed to explain why we were there and she said she will not open a case with out the suspects names, surname or ID number.
We asked for her name and she said “Andazi” (I do not know)
So when I am being mugged I should ask them thieves for the details?
Carletonville Saps you can do way better than this.
The issue against Dineo Mokwele is not about Qualifications but whether she met the Requirements,She has Qualifications but not meet the Requirements. The Panel Manipulated to favor her,she does not meet the Basic Requirements for the Position
