Hello, I hope you will speak about the Ja'fari jurisprudence in Iraq as well, just like you spoke about the niqab.
In Iraq, child marriage (9 years old) is allowed, a woman does not have the right to choose her life partner, and a husband is allowed to beat his wife even over a simple disagreement. Even if there is no disagreement and he beats her, the husband is not punished, and even if he continues to beat her, she does not have the right to separate from him without a court ruling.
Additionally, if a man kills one of his female relatives under the pretext of 'clearing honor' (honor killing), the law will not hold him accountable. There are also many other laws that treat women as beings without reason who cannot make their own decisions. These laws are humiliating to women in Iraq.
I ask you to please help women in Iraq as well.

This law separates children from their mothers, abolishes the legal marriage age of 18, and opens the door to child marriage. It contains major contradictions: a child is not allowed to choose to live with their mother until they turn 18, while at the same time, it would be possible for them to marry before the age of 18.
It also prevents women from inheriting land, and allows a husband to change the marriage contract before or after divorce and subject it to Jaafari law without the womanโs knowledge.
After the husbandโs death, custody would be transferred to his family, and it would not return to the mother unless a religious authority approves it.
There are many other regressive provisions as well. I hope you will take a few minutes to research this law, and I hope you will stand with us and share our message.
