In 2013-14 I recommended that US Soccer grant an academy to Redwood City because of the endless hispanic talent there in the heart of Redwood City. Since the DA folded those players in that zone are being lost.
Aguirre played his whole life there before going to UC Riverside like him so much talent keeps coming out of there. Even Cade Cowell played some games with that academy.
If you google Hoover Park in Redwood City- you will see what that field looks like and how many homes surround it. There are so many ⚽️ players and so much ⚽️ culture there. So much potential.
