🚨 BREAKING: The family of Renee Good and her partner, Rebecca Good, have filed two federal lawsuits over Good’s January killing by ICE agent Jonathan Ross in Minneapolis.
The first lawsuit is against the United States itself, alleging wrongful death and other claims under the Federal Tort Claims Act. The complaint alleges Ross fired three times as Good’s vehicle turned away from him, killing the 37-year-old mother of three, and argues the shooting violated the Fourth Amendment and DHS use-of-force policies.
The second, much broader lawsuit personally names Ross, Stephen Miller, Kristi Noem, Corey Lewandowski, Tom Homan, Todd Lyons, Gregory Bovino, and other federal agents. It accuses them of participating in an unlawful conspiracy surrounding “Operation Metro Surge” and brings claims under the Ku Klux Klan Act of 1871, Bivens, and Minnesota law.
The 149-page complaint alleges Good’s killing was not an isolated incident, but the “predictable and intended product” of a coordinated federal operation that plaintiffs say targeted Minnesota’s Somali and Hispanic communities and sought to intimidate people documenting or warning others about federal enforcement activity.
Together, the lawsuits seek damages over Good’s death and the injuries Rebecca Good says she suffered after witnessing the shooting.
BREAKING: Fox News agrees to host a debate between me and Ken Paxton — because the people of Texas deserve it.
They're just waiting on Paxton to agree.
Ball's in your court @KenPaxtonTX.

Five Senate Republicans (and counting) are taking the burgeoning scandal seriously, which is five more than usual. https://t.co/j96i0kjrj9
We have not seen a caravan headed to the U.S. southern border in several years, why now?
Oh yeah, there is an election coming and the GOP needs to scare you into voting because nothing else is working.
Of the TWO candidates running for governor of Texas, only ONE increased property taxes, that’s Greg Abbott.
He took over Houston ISD and increased taxes last year AND controlled who received those vendor contracts.
Abbott lies about me to hide his record of skyrocketing property taxes and growing state govt. I have never, not once, voted to increase taxes. I have only voted to decrease them.
ICE AGENTS BEHIND THE MASKS HAVE NAMES
2 masked ICE agents threatened to arrest Robert Peck for legally observing them. He sued.
Thank you, @ahylton26, for breaking this story.
“And now, because of a lawsuit, the (ICE) agents have names.”

I hope this encourages more folks to take ICE to court when their rights are violated. A mask shouldn’t mean immunity.
Remember Texas Longhorns fans, James Talarico attended the University of Texas at Austin as an undergrad whereas Ken Paxton was born in North Dakota, and he's a Notre Dame fan
YES, shouting “LEAVE THEM THE FUCK ALONE!” at ICE agents is protected by the First Amendment. Verbally protesting government conduct is a right. Swearing does not cancel it.

Ken Paxton keeps dodging debates. So I’m challenging him to a debate on Fox News — his safe space.
I’ll go into the lion’s den. I know what I believe and I’m not afraid of hard questions.
Ken has been running from accountability his whole life. It’s time to stop running.
Barack Obama at his last press briefing with reporters, 2017:
"I have enjoyed working with all of you. That does not, of course, mean that I've enjoyed every story that you have filed, but that's the point of this relationship. You're not supposed to be sycophants. You're supposed to be skeptics. You're supposed to ask me tough questions. You're not supposed to be complimentary, but you're supposed to cast a critical eye on folks who hold enormous power."
🚨 BREAKING: A federal judge has ordered the White House to IMMEDIATELY restore the press credentials of CNN, MS NOW, and POLITICO reporters after President Trump barred the outlets from the White House.
U.S. District Judge Timothy Kelly granted a 14-day temporary restraining order, finding the news organizations are likely to succeed on their claim that their hard passes were revoked without constitutionally adequate due process.
The judge also rejected the administration’s national-security justification at this stage, writing that the record contains little factual support showing the credential revocations would protect national security.
Ken Paxton and his allies have spent millions this election cycle on ads that accuse his Democratic U.S. Senate challenger, James Talarico, of helping Chinese investors buy up Texas land.
But before unleashing the attacks, Paxton’s campaign took in $40,000 from donors who work for companies that facilitate the exact kind of Chinese investments he has criticized, according to a review of campaign finance documents by Hearst Newspapers. https://t.co/phceOfCJIJ
