Students, staff, and family volunteers had fun in the sun at this year's Norge Field Day.  Students had over 40 stations to choose from as well as three bounce houses, a DJ, and a popsicle station!  Thank you to everyone who volunteered! #WeAreWJCC #norgeroadrunners

Norge students had Mix it Up Day in the cafeteria on March 26. All tudents were encouraged to sit with students from other classes for lunch.  They were given a piece of a poster mosaic to color as they practiced making a new connection. #WeAreWJCC #norgeroadrunners

Norge had an amazing year with these SCA officers! The food drive for FISH, Veterans Day program, Valentine's sales for the American Cancer Society, Make-A-Wish fundraiser, & the Earth Day program are just some of the highlights!  #WeAreWJCC #norgeroadrunners

Norge Elementary students and families raised $3,976.89 for Make-a-Wish.  The money will help Joshua, a local 4-year-old battling cancer, get his wish to go to a Florida theme park. #WeAreWJCC #norgeroadrunners

Norge kindergarten classes had fun visiting the Jamestown Settlement. #WeAreWJCC #norgeroadrunners

Norge brought 6 teams to the WHRO Great Computer Challenge at ODU. The Graphic Design Team placed 3rd, Desktop Publishing placed 3rd, Desktop Presentations placed 2nd and the Video Editing Team earned an Honorable Mention.  #WeAreWJCC #norgeroadrunners

Sofia, a prior student of Mrs. Vitaletti, returned to her second grade classroom to read a book that goes between English and Ukrainian with Mrs. Wang. #WeAreWJCC #norgeroadrunners

Mrs. Roessler's first grade class made Oobleck as a class reward.  Oobleck is a homemade slime that can mimic the qualities of both a solid and a liquid, sparking rich discussions about the states of matter. #WeAreWJCC #norgeroadrunners

Students in military families were celebrated at Norge on April 15 with Purple Up Day.  Purple Up Day is a day to show our support for our military families and thank the students for their strength and sacrifices. #WeAreWJCC #norgeroadrunners

First grade students in Mrs. Cummins' class looked too cool in their safety glasses during the solar eclipse in early April. #WeAreWJCC #norgeroadrunners

Fourth grade students in Ms. Wohlers' class help second graders in Mrs. Vitaletti's class edit their animal research rough drafts. #WeAreWJCC #norgeroadrunners

April was National Poetry Month!  Students at Norge celebrated poetry in many ways throughout the month.  On April 18, students participated in Poem in my Pocket Day by reading or reciting a poem to each other. #WeAreWJCC #norgeroadrunners
