Criminal. I used to be among the asshats who would tell you why it was necessary. I still understand it, but these days I suspect we could get rid of a good deal of all of it and do just fine with less help from anyone set up as a local authority. Where I live these days, I'm rather confident the neighbors will be here before anyone else.
Questions: Where does what money come from? Do I really need the things I am paying for? I've lived plenty of places in plenty of countries. You'd be surprised how little folks need "supervision" or unsolicited "help".
@Vincent61816450@otokyo Did you make the ping pong table? Dad did, then slaughtered all us kids, never gave us a break. Kids in the neighborhood had wheelie supports for the bikes. Kind of like training wheels for doing wheelies with the bike. We were too poor, so dad made that too.
Yeah, I'm at 20 without breaking a sweat. At least six of these I've done this year. Sent a paper check yesterday. Had a bill from a doctor with a web site. Went to the web site and their SSL was out of date so the browser wouldn't connect. I scanned their QR code, put in the account number and my birthday, and no such account. I called the number, no answer. I sent a check. What choice did I have. I wasn't going to add another account to bill pay when clown doesn't have my account number right. (or I could have used the QR code.)
I don't have a clue, mint probably. FTR, my son-in-law, who cares about such things, has an app for this. Points his phone at the shrubs he walks past and announces what it is. Next time you put up a plant, just assume it will take someone as long as it takes them to point the phone at the picture to get it right,.
@iAnonPatriot So help me understand these folks. If someone looks more like them than other people, they don't think they should be punished for murder? That's what I'm seeing. I don't think my children should see such pornography and perversion.
@Oldtimers365 Had string for a toy. Granted, grandma had to teach us how to use it. Who knew it could be so much fun?
One of my early computers as an adult...
I do apologize. I understand this is not kosher. Still, I do have a keen sense of the obvious. California is perpetuating a fraud. They have not had a legitimate election in decades. It has become so obvious, everyone who has noticed how obvious it is should probably speak up. Now is a good time.
Seriously. Is there anyone who sincerely believes elections in California are legitimate? We had enough signatures to recall the massive transportation tax that was almost certainly illegal to begin with. Then we lose that vote? That's pure bullshit. It's why even the poor (like myself) have left... if only to have some dignity and sense of self worth and participation in this country.
You'd probably need to hook up with someone who's been a bible geek for decades before things like that make much sense. The Alter would have meaning deeper than you're picking up. When you're in Numbers you find a census of folks, where each tribe should situate themselves, and who would carry the Tabernacle, etc.. Again, such things have more meaning that you'll notice. You're not going to pick up those things without help.
Going to give you some recommendations. One will help you get through the Bible along with other folks reading with you. The other are bible geeks who will bring out those things, point out things you certainly missed. (I missed them for decades, you're not alone.) So let's get you hooked up.
Download @YouVersion Bible app. Find the plan "Bible recap" Or visit the site and go from there. https://t.co/1FTDlDvCOb ,
Reason, I picked it is because I knew my daughter might finish that plan in a year, last year. It goes through the Bible Chronologically. That's actually not front to back. A little Genesis, Job, more Genesis... You'll know the plan. In the Bible Recap you'll be in a community. They have groups on Facebook. Part of the plan, Tara-Leigh Cobble gives a brief overview of what you read on any given day. If you started on Jan 1, today would be day 154. You would read Proverbs 1-3. After you'd go to https://t.co/zUAwvdQIBU (or watch it in the app).
All that should keep you engaged, among others trying to do the same thing you're doing. The Tara commentary will be helpful also.
Second thing is Chuck Missler "The Bible in 24 Hours" https://t.co/XtKen93hIq or https://t.co/ncIYKjRfzM. He's going to explain things in depth. Not everything, but it will be interesting. Genesis 5 for example... Looks like a Genealogy from Adam to Noah... because that's what it is. But if you translate the meaning of the names, it's a whole other thing. And that kind of thing is through the entire bible. (He'll explain that on hour 3 or 4)
I believed my daughter would benefit the most from the Bible Recap. I asked my friends to join me reading the Bible in a year -- last year and about 10 joined including my daughter. My daughter had always struggled with the Old Testament. She couldn't see though her own moral compass when rather horrid things happened. My hope was that if she did these two things, she'd manage to see Jesus everywhere in the Bible. Chuck will tell you the Old Testament is the New Testament concealed, and the New Testament is the Old Testament revealed. All one story about Jesus. 66 books, over 40 authors, written over 1500 years (or some such.)
I do know this helps Penny. If not you, someone needed the hand up with this struggle. Hope they jump on the recommendations and get a whole lot out of it.
If you have tons of time... I like https://t.co/shjATGwqjs as they go through the whole Bible...however long it takes them. Verse by verse. Or these: https://t.co/07HANsK3IB
https://t.co/9irqkQaRz6
That was a great start @Ron_Anderson65. You're going to want to hook up with other believers.
I'm glad I have YouVersion app. Just start... there's a daily thing.
You can watch sermons of church online 24/7 on Youtube. If you know of a local church you can probably find out if they have a youtube channel so you can check them out before you show up.
You're welcome to join me live online Sunday AM, early service at @freshlife Church https://t.co/0xWeKnUmAO
Kind of depends on what you're actually asking.
I've noticed a ton of women asking that of "guys" specifically... If that's the question there's one answer. Not so obvious to women... clearly.
If it's "general" and meant for both sexes, slightly less obvious answer... more a case by case thing.
It's never bothered me being alone. I'm Jones generation though, so that should not surprise anyone.
I think it's so obviously unbelievably evil, maybe they just presume someone like the Presbyterian Church would have instantly dealt with this.
Then again...there's a whole ton of churches that should probably be avoided at all costs...and who are way more popular than they ought to be... where are the pastors, and ministers with those churches? Because you can name the pastors and ministers dragging tons of folks to hell with them. They're not hiding and popular "Christian" networks on TV hosts all their shows. Love of money.
@LarryJones Yeah, I'm Jones Generation. That wasn't much of a challenge, all things you had to do or would have done. You don't have checks? There's still plenty of places, mostly municipal utilities who don't accept digital pay. You can pay digitally, but the bank sends them a check.
