REVEALED: An underground Hezbollah terror tunnel, under the village of Majdal Zoun, containing hundreds of weapons and 4 launch shafts aimed at Israel.
Just 4 miles into Lebanon from Israel’s border, the tunnel is 656 feet long and 82+ feet deep, and contains 4 launch shafts and 12 rooms, including living quarters and rooms used to store explosive devices, anti-tank missiles and UAVs.
@MarkJCarney@FP_Champagne Too bad you weren’t there. It would be nice if you would respect parliament enough to show up for last day of the session, especially since you set a record for the fewest days in Question Period.
Good series - worth doing, my only quibble is I think some evidence is emerging that this isn’t entirely self inflicted. “It’s a project being advanced not by our enemies, external or domestic, but by the very governments tasked with stewarding this great inheritance.”
Mark just flew his enormous jet on a one hour trip from Paris to Dublin.
Short flights are particularly inefficient, because most of the flight is spent at high thrust settings.
The running totals for this trip are 70,000L of jet fuel burned, and over 180,000kg of CO2 emitted.
@Dave_Eby LOL
Your source is an anonymous account on X?
No wonder BC is a disaster.
YOU ARE THE EXTREMIST!
If Kerry-Lynne quoted an anonymous account, your MLAs would be all over her for it.
Shameful behaviour.
BC deserves better.
You are BC’s Justin Trudeau.
Complete failure
@MichelleRempel@elonmusk It’s no mystery! For over a decade the @liberal_party has crushed opportunity and villified success. @elonmusk only one of many Canadians who have built their businesses in the US.
You don't care about Canada. You literally think Canada is a “colonial mistake.”
You forced DRIPA onto British Columbians and threatened the security of private property.
You have Land Back ministers eager to tear apart British Columbia.
You are the extreme activists
Your TDS is blinding you again. Trump actually has hundreds of companies to invest in. Carney has a choice of a hand ful. Canada is far, far behind the US in AI. Canada’s minister, Evan Solomon is dumb as a brick on the subject. The US administration AI czar is super sharp and a successful tech exec.
OK @Niigaanwewidam, what are the "lies, conjecture, absolute falsehoods" that I am spreading? You have a responsibility, as an academic, to analyze my arguments and show how this is the case.
Mark Carney’s grocery store photo op—towing along his wife Diana, who looks utterly lost amid the shelves given her high British society background—is pure Trudeau-style pandering to cling to power as PM. After his slick statement claiming the rebate will “make Canada strong” and help struggling families, he took no questions, proving his crippling policies drove us into recession.
@juliedabrusin@FP_Champagne Let’s be clear. You are simply returning taxpayer’s money, after spending a whole bunch on administration in Ottawa. Why not just lower taxes?
@amarsmen Hey dummy ….The Liberal party has consistently used divide and conquer politics. PP is the Leader of the Official Oppisition - his role is to oppose. Educate yourself about how a British parliamentary system works. And, have some fits use your real name.
I'm prepared to go to jail over this.
My grandmother Rita Pete went to St. Mary's Indian Residential School. She experienced terrible abuse. As a consequence, she struggled with alcohol use most of her life.
My mother was born with FASD as a consequence of her using alcohol to cope with her trauma.
I am Chief of my community Chawathil First Nation. I am working to address the longstanding impacts of these past policies through renovating homes, building new homes, creating childcare, and growing businesses through economic development.
I have interviewed people who went to Indian Residential Schools. I have interviewed people who believe Indian Residential Schools were awful, horrible schools, meant to remove the Indian from the child.
I've also interviewed people who believe they were well intended, generous investments by Canadian taxpayers meant to assimilate a society and had shortcomings.
Like with many things, the history is dark, complicated, and with any policy that existed for a long time, across a whole country - there were different experiences.
No one story tells us everything. No report shares the full experience of the individuals who went. No commentator today can disprove someone's lived experience with statistics.
The path forward is not to criminalize speech, questions, or debate.
The path forward is empathy for past attendees.
The path forward is truth based on facts.
The path forward is real conversations.
The path forward is to lean into complexity.
If the government criminalizes this, then I will be a criminal for having these conversations.
If I am a criminal by the laws definition, then I am committed to going to jail over this.
