Ahmed suffers from celiac disease (wheat allergy), and with the siege and war, his health condition has severely deteriorated. He has not had access to gluten-free food for the past three months, causing severe malnutrition, painful ulcers, gastritis, duodenitis, and a severe deficiency in proteins and vitamins, leading to swelling of his body and hair loss.
Today, Ahmed faces the risk of a slow death — without treatment, without food - amid the total collapse of medical care in Gaza.
We appeal to humanitarian and medical organizations to urgently intervene to save Ahmed and transfer him for treatment outside Gaza.
