My political opinion: Correct all current major problems in US politics by implementing STAR Voting in all federal, state, and local elections. *Not RCV*
@OrwellDay Thing is they can say that they'll stop abuses by people and they don't have enough eyeballs or time to abuse people. They won't. But let's say this guy is sincere. That all changes with AI. AI can be a constant panopticon monitor and provide reasons for harassment 24/7.
Feels like a good day to remind my senators @SenMarkey and @SenWarren - we'd have far less competition if AMD was not allowed to reverse engineer the x86 processor or LibreOffice the .doc and .xls formats. Protect reverse engineering & consumer rights, *including with AI use*.
@nbcsnl Pretty funny moment last night when I watched this live. It's silly that f-bombs aren't allowed after 12:00 am. Though I did enjoy their collective, "Ohhhhh...no....what did you just do?!" reactions. Also Mikey Day ad-libbing, "you're a loser and you SAID A BAD WORD!":D
@DividendBreeder What's crazy is that I remember seltzer being more expensive than soda. It made no sense to me. Now on-sale soda is regularly $6.50+ and on-sale seltzer is $4.00-4.50 per 12-pack.
Regarding Question 3 in Massachusetts - I will likely vote Yes, but my opinion is that *Primaries Should Not Exist!* Have the electorate express their support one time only under a STAR Voting system. No need for "Top-Two" or whatever scheme. STAR Voting streamlines everything.
@RetroNewsNow Packaging design from the Salsa Rio era. Salsa Rio is the best Dorito and an unfortunate victim of poor marketing/packaging during its brief resurrection several years back.
@TheCinesthetic In terms of political celebrities go she's as based as they come. I didn't always think that but I've grown up and realize she's a better human being than most.
