Kherson is bleeding.
At least 5 civilians killed in 24 hours after russian strikes on residential areas.
People killed in apartments — just trying to live.
This is deliberate targeting of civilians — a war crime in real time. And the world keeps watching.
More than 80 percent of the alumina produced in Ireland was shipped to Russia this year. Russia needs it for weapons systems used to kill Ukrainian children and families, as well as for weapons systems it is also directing against Europe. Perhaps Ireland should reconsider its lobbying efforts and propose adding aluminum to the EU’s next package of sanctions. Just as, incidentally, Russian uranium and fuel rods should have been sanctioned long ago, and Germany must enforce the sanctions so that no more German semiconductors or circuit boards end up in Russian drones. Close the loopholes and implement the sanctions without exception.

Another horrific Russian strike on Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities. Why is Russia spending millions of dollars on chaotic, pointless attacks on Ukrainian cities and waging a war against civilians?
Because this is not a military task. It is PR for Putin and his supporters. It is also Putin’s agony.
Russia currently can do nothing on the front line. The initiative belongs to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Europe is firmly supporting Ukraine. Russia is losing the war.
That is why Russia has chosen the tactic of intimidation and weakening the Ukrainian rear.
This is the only thing it can do right now - destabilize the Ukrainian rear and terrorize the population.
As I constantly say - Putin’s power rests on this war. He cannot end it and will not. His only path is escalation and repression.
But there are significant changes in Russia: the public consciousness has shifted from "this is our sacred people’s war" to "the war will continue as long as Putin is in power." Putin is starting to be despised. People have started laughing at him. He is being compared to Brezhnev, he is criticized even by Z-patriots, and even his own supporters no longer see a future for Russia with Putin. They are starting to ask the question - how much longer will this war last? And they are coming to the logical conclusion: as long as Putin remains in power.
Now the main thing is to hold out one day longer than the enemy. This summer will be difficult. But we are doing our job.
Thank you to everyone who stands with Ukraine.
NYT reports that Trump thinks JD Vance is lame, criticizes his shoes, and makes fun of him. But the one thing he appreciates is his loyalty like when he chooses Trump over the Pope. He’s told Vance he should stop interrupting and be more subservient like those around Xi Jinping.
If we give the Ukrainians Patriots and sanction Russian energy the war is over. In other words, US policy at present is to keep the war going.
