@Armydude206 The real concern with dust and consoles is the dust that gets pulled in by the fan while they're in use. Dust settling on top while they're powered off doesn't really matter. Just keep your place clean to minimize dust in the air, and periodically open them to blow dust out.
@LaissezCorvid@Z1goter Just FYI, I don't even have a dog in this race. I have a high-end PC, and a PS5 Pro. I think the Steam Machine is not a bad value for console players looking for a familiar entry point to PC gaming.
Make better arguments.
@LaissezCorvid@Z1goter So your argument shifted from "my PC gets basically the same price to performance as a PS5 Pro" to "actually my PC is weaker, but it doesn't matter because I can't tell the difference."
Not very compelling.
@BozoProzo Insane post to be honest. Humanity existing is not an objectively good outcome. In fact, from a lot of perspectives, it's a bad outcome.
"All of our efforts are for nothing." Spoiler alert: they always have been, and they always will be.
@Reppa_ssb@KC_Saber@The__Goomba DQ11 released on PS4 in 2017. DQ11S released on Switch two years later in 2019. It was then ported to PS4 over a year later in 2020.
They were not developed side by side. DQ11S on PS4 is an upscaled Switch version, and noticeably visually weaker than the original.
Am I doing something wrong with melee combat in 007?
I feel like I barely get to engage with some of the mechanics like throwing objects, vault attacks, or grabbing and charging. The enemies just crowd me and attack so fast I just have to parry, get in the follow up hit, repeat
@alittleyareli Citing God of War as an example of this is crazy. There are no camera cuts in GoW 2018. It is a single "take" from beginning to end, including gameplay. You can't have shot/reverse-shot with no cuts.
if there's 2 ppl who are 3-12 on my team, wtf am I losing 30 rr for? Sry I'm not hitting 30 kills this round, but there's only so much you can do when it's basically 3v5 the whole time
@thecutestclub@7Negative_Creep Inventory management =/= inventory sorting
You still have to manage your inventory with auto sort. If you enjoy moving the little boxes around, that's fine. But it's not really an important part of the experience
@thecutestclub@7Negative_Creep You also have to engage your brain and make those decisions in every RE that doesn't use this system. Sorting the inventory doesn't matter. Limiting the amount of stuff you can carry is what's integral to survival horror.
@Proto_Eevee@halofatguy@M0BILESUITZER0 The difference is that inventory Tetris is not integral to the survival horror experience. The enemies are. So is inventory management. But not the Tetris.
@Proto_Eevee@halofatguy@M0BILESUITZER0 That's exactly my point. The only difference is that you have to do it manually. The limitation is the amount of room. That's what forces you to choose what to take or leave.
Positioning the items is a gimmick. It only increases the amount of time spent in the menu.
@Proto_Eevee@halofatguy@M0BILESUITZER0 Literally speaking, it is mechanically different.
Fundamentally, it serves the same purpose.
If you like it, that's fine. But I'm arguing that it's not integral from a gameplay perspective. Everyone reaches the same spatial limitation. What difference does doing it by hand make?
