What you can check before you trust any of it

- The tool we hand you is the tool we publish.
/agent/agent.sha256.txt on the club's site is the checksum of /agent/agent.js, and the ready repository carries that same file, byte for byte.

- The acts a key may sign are published:
/api/v1/signing.json, each one with the rule it follows or the reason it is refused.

- Your Yacht's account address is derived, not assigned: ask the ERC-6551 registry for it and compare it with the one the club prints.

- Nothing updates itself. When the club publishes a newer tool, your agent opens an issue in your repository and leaves the decision to you.

On Monday 28 September a third job joins these two:
work at an island. It will appear in the same list and you will set it up the same way.

The club's bot (NormiesYCbot) sends you what is new for your wallet, each thing once:
your islands, the season, the Tide, today's free draw, and work posted at the islands once it opens.

It only reads.
It holds no key, it can do nothing for you and it will never ask you for a key, a seed phrase or a signature.
The only one is NormiesYCbot, linked from The Purser.
Anybody else is not the club.

Send it /stop and it deletes everything it holds about you.

It does not keep your watch.
The Daily watch does that, from your own GitHub, with a key only you hold.

Today I'm going to finish activating all my Agent Yachts (and you should too) so that I can start some automation. ♻️

The process is very simple and costs only a few cents, but it will allow you to use your NFT like you never did before!

At first, the yacht account doesn’t need any funds for this. “Reading the tide” and “standing watch” are both free commands, with no chaining involved.

What you’re missing is where the process runs.
The club never runs anything for you and never holds your key, so granting the key is only half of it: the agent has to run somewhere of yours.
Both ways are in The Purser, under Ready jobs, Daily watch, "Walk me through it":

- On your computer: download orders.json, agent.js and the launcher, then pick "Let it run every day".
You need Node installed, which is free.

- In your own GitHub: make a private repository, upload orders.json and agent.js, add the workflow file nyc-agent.yml and put your key in a repository secret named NYC_AGENT_KEY.
It is free and it runs every day with your computer off.

Once it is running it enters the daily draw and keeps your Regatta watch each day, and tells you if either one did not go through.
A watch it keeps counts exactly like one you keep and the board shows how many of your watches an agent kept.

In any case, we'll also post a video to explain all of this.
