@9ersmuse What was great about him too is that he could play Fullback. The 1984 Super Bowl Season he was the FB and Wendell Tyler as the HB. They were really good together that season. More dangerous duo than Craig with Rathman.
@49ersSportsTalk@VicTafur He had a good rookie year. He is still probably the fastest back on the team. He lacks vision and needs a seam to have big gainers using his speed.
@NinersHistory The guy was a 4th rounder who caught Bill Walsh’s eyes with the way he moved and covered the field. To tell you how the draft experts can be often wrong, Mel Kiper ranked him his 35th best OLB prospect back in 1986 because of a lack of information and a bad pre-draft workout.
@Coach_Yac They the will keep 6 WRs. Locks - Stribling, Evans, and Pearsall. Robinson, Kirk, Cowing, and Watkins or some late addition will battle for the remaining spots and PR. Also, what most likely will happen is that one of these guys will be end up on IR at the start of the season.
@Chase_Senior I would agree. It’s a unit made up of mostly SS types. In fact, Ji’Ayir Brown is now used more like a coverage LB than a Safety. Unit needs to get faster and better in coverage.
@freedomxxx45@uscfan981 This is a great pic of The Ultimate Warrior nodding his head vigorously as if someone just asked if he would like to have some more steroids.
