@MVGutierrezMD Any recommendations for a youth soccer athlete trying to return from a pretty bad concussion? We are doing a Q collar and the padded head band. Do the padded headbands help with headers at all?
@ashishkjha@billprady Folks can speak with their pediatrician about receiving an early dose between 6-11 months. Not routinely given early because efficacy is lower than after 12 months, so it’s an extra dose. Some states like NC have provided guidance on this.
Power outages can last longer than expected, and food safety can be easy to overlook.

There is no way to overstate how phenomenal Jack Bryant (Highland Tech) was in the shutout of Bradford Prep. He did everything you can ask of a GK. He shrunk the field, was the loudest player on the pitch, and brought back some shots that initially appeared to be sure fire goals.
The center back duo of #12 Reilly Spencer & #22 Noah Tabor (Highland Tech) were excellent in the shutout of Bradford Prep. They staunchly defended their area, almost completely taking away the middle of the pitch from the opposition. They will not concede many times this season.
I was just impressed overall by the quality of play from High School of Technology in their 1-0 win at Bradford Prep. They were very organized for a team in their 1st match, and it became evident that they will be one of the front runners to bring home a 2A state title this fall.
The only @CharlotteFC player to play every minute in 2024, Kristijan Kahlina was an absolute star this year in @MLS. His consistency in saves & shutouts led Charlotte FC to their second straight Audi MLS Cup Playoffs appearance. Congratulations, Kristijan!
Congrats Kristijan Kahlina, MLS Goalkeeper of year & first Charlotte FC player to win MLS award.
- 1st in shutouts (12) & save % (75.6 %) 3rd in GAA (1.09) & saves (121)
- 10.47 G-xG “post shot goals - expected goals” 2nd in MLS since 2013
- played every '24 minute @CltLedger
@MVGutierrezMD any new treatments for post Covid headaches? I’ve got a good Dr but have been through all migraine/cluster/TN treatments in the last four years and I can’t get any relief
@MVGutierrezMD No MCAS work up. Pain presents like some sort of damage to the v1 branch of the trigeminal nerve, but it just isn’t consistent with any of the known headache conditions. Nothing remarkable on head or neck mri. I know so much of the long covid is weird so maybe I’m on my own here
@itscalebadams For all the talk of being at the mercy of the world video feeds, that was a very embarrassing and ironic moment to be shot from an extremely close camera
