This Sunday is our supply distribution! We now have 2 different drop boxes.

Either drop box is fine to drop off in and resources will go to the same place.

Over the weekend, some collective members and comrades got together to address the heat wave effecting our houseless neighbors. We passed out lots of ice, water, and sports drinks. Along with information on cooling stations and where to get ac around Escondido.

Another Sunday distribution out here in Escondido. On our journey through encampments this week, some of us became overwhelmed emotionally, with the of amount people we see living in unsafe and unsanitary conditions, It's easy to feel dred and despair.

By doing this, we begin to empower those living outside, to hopefully help break the vicious self hating cycle that we are taught to adapt. Now is not the time to hold officials accountable, they have shown they do not care and are willing to do nothing.

Were starting to see a lot of the same faces and families that show up, and it feels like we're really starting to build connections with our local community.

We passed out clothes, children's toys/clothes, dish soap, laundry soap, hygiene items, and hot food

We had a great free store yesterday on a sunny day in Escondido. It was great to see some new faces come out as well as some old. What's also great is the familiar faces who come take our donations!

Through the text message list we've created, we're able to notify families before hand, and they are able to use us a monthly free resource.
