Danforth/Royal/DVP #BikeTO intersection installation happening now, continued from last night.
Many months of work, approvals and coordination was required to make this seemingly simple change to improve safety for all road users.

Dr. Michael Warner walks us through the story of one patient.
A woman in her 40s who got Covid. Earlier today he fought to save her life.
But before the day ended Covid stole her from us.
Please listen to @drmwarner share his anger and heartbreak.
@311Toronto several areas of the bloor bike lane needs to be re-plowed, as businesses were shoveling snow off the sidewalk and into the bike lane. Areas from the photos is slightly west of Shaw and bloor and also 922 bloor st w.
@311Toronto Would be great to educate folks to not shovel the snow into the bike lanes. Bloor was heavily affected this morning, simply because businesses were shoveling the snow into the bike lane.
I'm thrilled to share a blog I wrote for the national initiative to #EndGBV on Canadian campuses. I share findings from my PhD research on youth trauma survivors & #consent, & offer a practical tool for implementing #traumainformed consent education https://t.co/6tIoEAnxhg
Low income and racialized communities have been hit hardest by the #COVID19 pandemic, but there is another group that feels abandoned – people with disabilities and there are fears some are exploring assisted dying as a last resort. https://t.co/W3kcnE1Ab7 @CityCynthia@mahnoorie
When I cannot focus on writing because of C19 I've been learning to create a website (kudos to web developers, it's not easy). I'm proud to publish my site today. There's "Resources on GBV, trauma, & COVID-19" for those interested!✨https://t.co/gJkKqU0lGx #AcdemicChatter#EndGBV
Strong mind-body reactions to C19 makes sense but, for some, the more destabilizing responses come from a history of interpersonal & structural violence. For survivors, the emotional impacts of C19 are compounded. #EndGBV#TraumaInformed
Legislation to ban conversion therapy needs to include trans and gender diverse people. Thank you for the work you’re doing to see this happen @CGSHEquity! Just signed the open letter. #EndCTForAll
Today I marked an essay from a Gr. 7 girl who argued that honesty isn't always the best policy...because sometimes you have to lie to boys...because sometimes boys get mad and kill girls who won't go out with them but will go out with another boy #savesexed#genderbasedviolence
The main reasons that international students are hesitant to access services after GBV on campus include shame, language barriers, privacy, & embarrassment. Programming & services must adapt to break down these barriers. #EndGBV#Consent
Intn'l students from conservative or religious backgrounds had less sexual health info & knowledge around GBV. Culturally relevant programming will recognize this & offer many different outreach efforts that speak to a diversity of challenges with seeking support #EndGBV
Intn'l students may fear that their VISA will be revoked or that they'll be removed from their program because of a #GBV complaint. #EndGBV#EndRapeOnCampus
