ARREST MADE:

On 7/15/25, a masked suspect broke into a jewelry store on Washington Ave, stealing tens of thousands in watches. After a multi-agency investigation, Herman Milton (43, Hartford) was arrested on 10/14. Charges include Burglary 3rd, Larceny 1st & more.

Heartbroken to hear an NYPD officer was killed in yesterday’s tragic shooting in Manhattan. Our thoughts are with the officer’s loved ones, and the families of all the victims impacted by this senseless act of violence. We stand with NYPD and NYC during this time of mourning.

North Haven Police and the South Central Connecticut Traffic Unit are on scene for a serious MVA with injuries on Middletown Avenue, just south of the intersection with Quinnipiac Ave. Expect road closures and delays. Avoid the area if possible.

NH LAX 5K tomorrow, (3/16/25) at 9am from the NHMS. Portions of Bailey, Pool, Tennyson, and Virginia Rd. will be closed starting at 8:45am. North Haven officers and CERT will be located at different locations on the course to assist runners and traffic. Drive with caution!
