📢 North Street Medical Care - Community Update: GP Practice Expansion Plans

We’re excited to share that we’ve submitted a planning application to expand our GP practice by purchasing at practice cost and renovating the adjacent premises at 1 Parkside Avenue.

This vital development will allow us to:
🏥 Create 6 new clinical rooms,
👩‍⚕️ Add dedicated office space and triage hubs,
👨‍⚕️ Increase capacity for GP & nurse appointments, minor surgery and contraception services.
🤝 Provide workspace for a growing team of healthcare professional

Some of our clinicians are now piloting AI transcription software for record keeping, to help them focus on you.

The tool is NHS and GDPR compliant and is already being used at many surgeries.

If you'd prefer your clinician not to use this, please let them know.

It will help keep patient parking facilities free, and available for those who need it most when attending the Romford site.

Any unregistered vehicles are at risk of receiving a fine. For any exceptional circumstances please always let a member of staff at reception know.

Please remember to register your vehicle number plate details on the screen in the waiting room as soon as you arrive. There is a maximum two hour stay. Our car park is strictly only for patient and staff use.
