We have launched a new wave of CCTV cameras in Westminster – stepping up our campaign against antisocial behaviour and crime blighting the lives of residents.

The rollout of a network of 100 cameras across the summer has started in priority areas for Westminster residents. These cameras are helping the Met police @MPSWestminster crackdown on ASB and capture evidence for prosecution in court.

Crucially, the cameras are portable so we can move them around the city to tackle issues ranging from antisocial behaviour to fly tipping – a major advantage over fixed-position CCTV cameras.

We are delivering this project in partnership with the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham @LBHF and CCTV and security firm, North @North_Tech1.
