We have been informed of sad news of retired Deputy Fire Officer Dave Ellis, who sadly passed away in the last few days. Dave was very well respected and loved by all. He will be sadly missed 🚒😢

RAYNET was originally set up in 1953 after the East Coast Flooding’s, when amateur radio enthusiasts, using their own radio equipment were the only way of providing a reliable link into the stricken area. #VolunteersWeek #RAYNET
