@mariacaulfield They didn’t though did they? There are numerous publicity shots of Farage in front of the address they called out. He literally publicised that address and when told he was not there they left because they’re not interested in his daughter.

They can’t speculate over circumstantial evidence and they can’t verify led by it as it is not robust in court. They are protecting any future prosecution. They are doing their job!

@steve4good They said that at that time (of their original statement) they had no evidence to believe it was politically motivated. They got evidence to suggest it is so they announced that. Not quite sure where you’re going with this. It’s called an investigation, they’ll be led by facts!

@MediaSOI What they ACTUALLY said was that there was no evidence to suggest a political/terror related motive. However, they now have evidence to the contrary by the sound of it so their investigation has evolved. That is how an investigation works. Let them do their job!
