There is never an excuse for targeting the children of politicians.

Their pathetic defence was that Nigel wasn’t answering questions… when they knew he was out of the country meeting the Vice President of America.

They then hosted Adam Boulton to defend Sky’s behaviour on air.

Who is he? A close friend of Peter Mandelson whose wife was a senior advisor to Tony Blair and who has just been made a peer by Keir Starmer.

This is the type of media organisation that Lisa Nandy wants to give privileged status to.

It’s all a cosy club.

But it won’t wash anymore.

Here's a small high street in south-east London.

It's less than 1 km long.

The population was 15,000 at the last census.

In the last two years, five phone repair and vape shops have opened here.

One opened this week, right next door to another.

All the staff are immigrants.

How do they make enough money to stay open while other businesses are closing?

Who in local authority approved the sales to these businesses?

How can it be argued that this many shops of the same kind are an improvement to the area?

I took these photos while visiting family for Christmas, but I'm seeing this all over the country.

Perran Moon, the Labour MP for Camborne and Redruth, has a professional background in the electric vehicle (EV) industry, having served as Chief Marketing Officer and interim CEO of Believ, an EV charging company.

During his 2024 election campaign, Moon received a £10,000 donation from Danny Luhde-Thompson, a strategic advisor at Quadrature Capital.

Quadrature Capital has made significant investments in the EV sector, including stakes in companies like Nio Inc. and Autoliv Inc., both of which have interests in the development and deployment of EV technologies.

This convergence of professional and financial relationships raises questions about potential conflicts of interest, particularly concerning the influence of private investments on public policy decisions related to the EV industry.

Additionally, Cornwall comprises approximately 75% agricultural land. Moon's support for policies imposing inheritance taxes on agricultural assets has been met with criticism from local farmers, who argue that such measures could force them to sell their land or repurpose it for alternative uses, such as installing solar panels, to meet tax liabilities.

Quadrature Capital has also demonstrated interest in renewable energy sectors, including investments in solar energy companies like First Solar, Inc.

The intersection of these factors suggests a potential alignment between Moon's political actions and the financial interests of his associates and donors.

Given that Camborne and Redruth is an area characterized by high poverty rates, low educational attainment, and lower voter turnout compared to national averages, concerns have been raised about the selection of parliamentary candidates with strong industry ties.

This situation prompts further inquiry into the possibility that EV industry stakeholders may be strategically positioning individuals with industry ties into parliamentary seats to advance specific agendas.

Such actions could potentially influence government policies and funding allocations in favour of the EV sector.

Given these circumstances, it is crucial to examine the extent to which private sector interests may be leveraging political avenues to shape public policy, especially in constituencies that may be more susceptible to external influence due to socioeconomic challenges.

He also received £6k from a company called Talacom Ltd (Tala) is a private limited company in Oxfordshire, who specialise in "media relations, brand management, corporate communications, and potentially lobbying or advisory roles." - which got them a lot of clients:
