Buffalo Bayou, TX. Advocate for a bicycle friendly city. Following leaders in my 🚴advocacy to bring #htown the benefits it desperately needs! #bikerackdiaries
advocating w/o pay is hard to justify when the bills come. you try to be a voice for those who cant attend but end up being one of them when you can't afford it anymore.
fun fact: in New York City, emergency vehicles literally use the bike lanes to get out of gridlock. Well-protected bike lanes can serve as an emergency lane that actually reduces response times.

@SamIsNotOff@gratifihouston You have that freedom now. But try walking from Etobicoke to King and Portland with a baby and other items. You should embrace the car, it is really a great invention.
Houston needs to be awarded a major event and at least three completely made up events every month if that’s what it takes to get the potholes filled, streetlights fixed, and the city looking good.

Astonished that $0 is spent to sort out illegal dumplings like this across HTX. We need to do so much better.
Thank you @salinasforhtx for your budget amendment proposal to reallocate $3 million in consulting fees to this work!
This is a no brainer @JoeforHouston
