I am honored to have received a National Award from Caretech. I want to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who supported me in achieving this, especially Katie, Jane, our team leaders, and my colleagues."๐ฅฐ๐ฅฐ#socialcareworker
We are delighted to announce that our 12th loving home has opened in Preston. Lavender is a beautiful old house thatโs been decorated to make a nurturing family home. We hope, alongside our other homes, we will share the lives of our children and watch them grow and succeed.
ROC Northwest had a fantastic weekend. A wonderful opportunity for our homes to come together and celebrate the start of the summer holidays with their families. The event included exciting activities like abseiling, paddle boarding, axe throwing, archery, games, and a BBQ.
We are proud to announce we have achieved 100% of our homes with an outstanding or good rating with @Ofstednews thatโs 100% of love and care for our children #loveledcare

Our lovely Callam is in France ๐ซ๐ท this weekend to watch his rugby league team @WarringtonRLFC play Catalans Dragons in Perpignan. What better way to start the holiday than a stroll in the sun โ๏ธ with Wolves manager Sam Burgess. ๐ ๐ฆธโโ๏ธ
The campaign to make care experience a protected characteristic is personal. I left care at 16, and I know first-hand how difficult life was (still is) for young people leaving the system. I came back into the system to help other young people like me. 2024, this is a bedroom for a young care leaver. Yes, it has a bed and a carpet. But that's it. It lacks any life. It's one room in a bedsit. There's a shared toilet and kitchen for 6 others. This is their reality. #changeiscoming.Children in care are still children.
What do you think are the personal qualities, skills, or even life experiences, that most often see an individual excel in the life-changing #residentialchildcare profession? What matters most to children and young people? #childrenshomes#lifechangingpeople
Care leavers are far less likely to go to university than other teens, according to a @Civitas_UK report this year.
Two care-experienced women who have bucked the trend, Lucy Barnes @CEPbarrister & Rebecca Munro, Education Liaison Offer @univofstandrews, join @KrupaPadhyBBC โฌ๏ธ

Thank you Lucy for raising awareness around this subject. We were saddened to hear that in 10 years nothing much has changed in the amount of #CEP accessing higher education remains around 14% #wemustdobetter
An honour to be on @BBCWomansHour today with Rebecca, discussing our experiences as #CEP in higher education.
Really important to me to challenge the stigmas and narratives surrounding #CEP & shining a light on what we can bring to the world โจ catch up later on @BBCSounds
Merry Christmas firstly to all our wonderful children we hope you have an amazing day. Secondly to all our staff who will celebrate today away from their own families to make the day special for the ones we look after #thankyou#workingatchristmas@caretech
We recognize this as a huge issue in the care sector. We have 46 children in our care and proud to say that 90% are from the North West. We place a huge value on family time, links with friends and maintaining school placement. Good luck with your entry #GoneTooFar
๐ฌ Have you seen our new #GoneTooFar film? We designed it with young #CareExperienced campaigners on our campaign to keep children close to the people & places that matter to them
๐ The film has been nominated for an Award in the @SmileyCFA! Vote below:
