@harrym_vids i Story? BMWs missed opportunity (basically becoming a style exercise for the Chinese.)
With the i3 and i8 BMW had a clear vision - which they dropped resulting in Carsten Breitfeld and his team leaving…
They have never recovered:

@ColinByTheCoast @harrym_vids@YouTube BEVs will make us even more dependant on China. Smart?
Here in Norway Chinese BEVs are now a common sight in traffic, even the Honqui Rolls-Royce replica.
@harrym_vids@YouTube Naive: Thinking a 20% CO2 reduction in a life cycle perspective because of going battery electric will save a planet that we ravage on a daily basis - partly by mining out rare Earth metals for batteries.
@LewisStanding1@harrym_vids@YouTube If you think EVs will make even a small dent in climate change, your in for some big disappointments.
20% less CO2 in a life cycle perspective will mean diddly squat, but becoming fully dependent on China will have “slightly” bigger consequences.
@Andrew_Frankel Too far gone already when it left the production line🙈
Only the British with your “Keep Calm And Cary On”-spirit will accept a “premium” car which is programmed to self destruct. (Had British cars of the 70s and 80s had Japanese quality, you would still have ruled the World.)
Denna må du se @MadsOstberg ! Sjekk tire deflection på hoppet i Sverige. Saklig! Du virker jo så rolig, men bak et rally-ratt liksom. Hjælp! https://t.co/GFloq8OPDD
