Fun Fact: DJ Screw’s Mother, Ida Mae, sold mixtapes out of her home on Friday nights in the 70s. She would record songs from vinyl to eight-track cassette, and sell them to friends in the neighborhood. This birthed Screw’s love for cassettes, mixtapes and song selection.
