Dear #Hucclecote
I am sorry to announce that the Hucclecote Spring is no more.
@stwater have found a leak and repaired the pipework.
So after two years of them saying it’s #NotALeak and treating people like fools they’ve now found the leak causing the “natural spring”.
Soz
@stwater
How do I ask for an investigation into why this took so long and request some learning in put into place to avoid your customers being treated like stupid idiots?
I’d also like an official apology.
As feed back @stwater The chap on site today with glasses is really rude. When we asked if they had tested the water he was really rude and told us he would probably be it’s not a leak when they dig the hole and walked off.
#PoorService
Update: Before digging any hole @stwater have said it’s not their problem.
“We don’t need to test the water for chlorine because the water is flowing so I can see it’s not our problem”
Latest excuse: “it’s the water table”
Hucclecote Spring is still open for business. If you’d like to collect free water please visit.

Council don’t care 🤷🏼
Update on Lynmouth Road, #Hucclecote water “leak”.
Within the past 24 hours, the report to @GlosRoads has been opened as “under investigation” and then closed with no one coming out.
Local Councillor has been informed as well now.
#NotALeak
Another leak now in Lynmouth Road, Hucclecote. Water flowing down the road for last few hours.
@stwater say it’s not their problem because it relates to a meter issue.

Latest update for the Lynmouth Road natural spring in Hucclecote.
The latest report to @GlosCC@GlosRoads has been closed.
The cause is rainwater - even though the road is soaking during the heatwave/drought.
We always knew Hucclecote was special but even the rain knows it!
@GlosRoads We have water constantly coming out from the road but @stwater say it’s not a leak. Could you advise what else could cause water to be coming up from under the road surface? I’m hoping that @GlosCC might be able to help.
@stwater Even better that your child doesn’t have to walk past a water leak every day for over two years knowing the company responsible don’t care … doesn’t teach them about responsibility does it.
