Today I learned of a medical condition known as “Time Blindness”. It and the associated conditions (hyper focus, inability to judge task time, brain fog) describe an ex. I wish I would have known this earlier. Still think about her smile and hugs though.

Just like real Brooklynites don't say they live in NYC - because that's Manhattan - but they'll say NYC for convenience when out of borough. Or people who live in PG Co / MoCo / NoVA say live in DC.

@excrementum @DeerskinKid @JohnLeFevre As the driver is a minor, SHIELD laws are in effect. It's up to the Judge to allow the identity to be released. What background they come from is immaterial. "Afluenza" kid had ever privilege imaginable and still killed several people.

@DeerskinKid It will be impossible to charge this as a hate crime. The idiots were 1/2 mile behind the victim and had no knowledge of his ethinicity, age, or former profession. This was random and stupid.

@stjojo23 @ColeTrainNyc Correct. At the time of incident, with no other evidence, it was classified a "Hit and Run". However, the video surfaced a day ago and the charges upgraded to Murder for the driver - rightfully so.

National news isn't going to pick up a basic cyclist hit and run incident 20 miles outside of City of Las Vegas. However, the video surfaced a day ago and the charges upgraded to Murder.
