this case is extremely important for the future of woman making sexual harassment complaints and that’s why justin’s rich friend spent so much money trying silence and punish blake
@sofecteau@TheWrap I agree the smear campaign was somewhat successful. Just like Liman said, Wayfair did what they set out to do. People will take any excuse to hate on a woman yourself included it.
13. The take away is the Judge ruling that Blake Lively spoke in good faith about her experience of sexual harassment.
Justin Baldoni failed to show any evidence of malice and by launching a frivolous retaliatory lawsuit, he will now be forced to pay her legal costs and fees.
You have no idea how much she has spent on attorney fees. No one does except for her and her attorneys. And damages are still in play, Liman left the door open for her to try to get them through a different procedural vehicle.
They didn’t ask the insurers to defend them in the defamation case and I don’t think insurance is legally obligated to pay anything since it arises from litigation they initiated. So no. All signs point to their sugar daddy bailing them out once again.
@Helena920121@LawfulRiches@people And no one has any idea how much the fees and costs will be but it’s for the whole defamation case, not just one motion
@LawfulRiches Especially after I recommended they take a settlement that left open the potentially huge liability that is 47.1 possibly opening myself up to a malpractice claim in the process
But sure keep calling that a “win
@LawfulRiches Did you go to the Brian freedman school of winning? My clients would absolutely not consider this a win, especially since damages could still be owed, and they would be rightly pissed if I tried to tell them otherwise.
