Given Elon Musk has publicly endorsed Donald Trump how is featuring him on Twitter not an in kind contribution that violates federal election laws? Corporations can not donate to campaigns. Plus the value of the free hour on Twitter far exceeds what is a permissible donation!
JD Vance said this on a podcast hosted by a Twitter user he follows who calls for putting “misogynists back in the Oval Office” and says “we need to stop normalising consent”
Matthew 25:31-46 tells us that when Jesus returns, he doesn’t judge the righteous and the unrighteous based on how many people they converted or how they enforced their beliefs.
They are judged based on their compassion towards the hungry, thirsty, sick, and imprisoned.
I’m a Christian,
I believe in the separation of church and state.
I believe no religion should be given preference by our government, including my own.
I believe following Jesus results in caring for the needs of everyone, no matter if their beliefs differ from mine or not.
Jesus drew crowds because of the integrity of his message and the power of his love.
Jesus didn’t need to put up posters about his beliefs.
Jesus didn’t have to make the government enforce his beliefs.
Jesus lived it and showed others how too.
That’s what truth looks like.
I’m a Christian.
3 things I don’t want in our public schools:
1. Hungry kids going without food.
2. Religion imposed on kids because of a self obsessed political movement.
3. Hungry kids going without food thinking that’s what God wants because of said political movement.
People in Gaza are dying not only from bombs and bullets, but from lack of food & clean water, and hospitals without power & medicine.
This must stop.
I will not relent in my call for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire and the immediate & unconditional release of all hostages.
