I don't know if it was the right choice to reveal completely why Abby hates Joel. I think the game handled it well by revealing she was a firefly but only that her father was the doctor later on which builds our sympathy for her . In the show we are too worried for joel to care

@FilmUpdates I don't think they avoided the critique of Joel going to the lodge, Dina wasn't dying or anything and Tommy was in trouble and we have seen in the whole first season that joel will risk anything for the ones he loves. I just don't see him still giving into going out to the lodge.
