@Chillisti2@MeatiHS @Pony_Dojo Elderly people are also probably “more easily swayed” by your metric but allowed to vote. Why is being easier to convince even part of your prerequisite to vote. This implies that you need a certain amount of stubbornness to be eligible to vote which isn’t necessarily good.
@Chillisti2@MeatiHS @Pony_Dojo Additionally, a lot of adults aren’t future thinking because they are already past 50% of their life this they are less likely to vote for more future minded policy and put short term benefits first which can lead to disastrous policy decisions long term.
@Chillisti2@MeatiHS @Pony_Dojo Well you realize you were probably just in a red county, you should look to see what percent of the adults in the school district also voted red. Additionally, like how is this brainwashing unique to children are adults also not brainwashed by like Fox News, etc.
@Chillisti2@MeatiHS @Pony_Dojo Yeah, actually all of my friends did high school debate and followed politics ever since eighth grade. In fact, a lot of adults I know aren’t educated that deeply about politics and don’t really care about anything outside of their job.
@PaulRS123@FunkoPhillip@GoodPoliticGuy In the status quo, parties convince the top 5% they’ll get more money and they spend it on convincing the bottom 95% who will lose out that they won’t. Id rather have 51% benefit than 5%.
