We make board games for learning and not being bored.
Willa & Bill are in charge of the conversations happening here, so if you need anything, just ask them.
Check out the latest findings inside Grampappy’s Files: The Art of the Deal-making Through Games. How board games like Frango Morango are powerful tools for teaching negotiation, a key communication skill that enhances mutual understanding and benefit. https://t.co/YEN3mKmHXX
Effective communication & negotiation are key to success. Why wait to teach kids these vital skills? We believe in harnessing the natural curiosity in children through games. Because complex concepts can become very digestible when you're playing. https://t.co/WLo4IsOgMr
Every great product is an art of craftsmanship—a dedication to generating something valuable with lots of attention to detail. @OfficialBlueyTV is the best show for kids ever.
Bluey and Cocomelon are 2 of the 5 most streamed shows in the world.
The creative processes for these kid shows are so different: Bluey is written by a single person for kids AND parents. Cocomelon is engagement hacking “data-driven” slop.

Our brains are wired to devour patterns. Games provide just that. While playing games, we make mistakes, push boundaries, and repeat, making it a perfect learning vehicle. @raphkoster insights remind us that this interactive, hands-on approach is crucial for lifelong learning.
Happiness Farmer knows how to take care of everyone except himself. He’s always looking after other people’s needs, but who looks out for him? We know he will one day be able to use that Refuse Card! Comment “HAPPINESS” if you can relate 😅 #frangomorango#peoplepleaser
As our first game gets closer to an official launch, let's share some of the story behind it. Read our latest blog post, Frango Morango — A Wacky Card Game of Negotiation & Communication https://t.co/G5tSljkP3t
In today's world, Creativity is as important as literacy. But conventional schools don't foster it. Why? Too busy with test result. We think we can help. By bringing board games to any learning environment, you have a fun and engaging way to open the kids' creative abilities.

While a resolution reeks of unattainable human obligations and weak-willed mortal hope, a prophecy springs from the gods themselves. We have been to the Oracle of the New Year, and she foretells a prophecy: 2024 will bring about a new era of gaming and education!
“New Year’s Resolution”
- boring
- unattainable
- makes you sound like a MUN delegate
“New Year’s Prophecy”
- ominous
- inevitable
- forged by the gods of Olympus
This year at [Not] Bored Games, we have goals that are too important to be left to wither and die at the shores of the new year. So we won’t doom it by calling it a resolution. Instead, we’ll call it our New Year’s Prophecy.
Symptoms may include spontaneous jogging, eating nothing but kale, and delusions that "this is gonna be my year!" Left unattended, most resolutions fizzle out by February.
If symptoms persist, you're doing amazing, sweetie!
A New Year's resolution often involves a hastily made, guilt-fueled pledge of excessive restriction to correct the passing year's missteps. Behind these desperate resolutions are peer pressure, nagging feelings of inadequacy, and a panicked sense that time is slipping away.
A strange thing happened at Grampappy's Shack. Just as we were entering the jolliest day of the year. Why? Read all about The Heist Before Christmas on our Blog.
