If men are expected to endure brutal training regimens just to look the part for roles like Chris Hemsworth or Dwayne Johnson, then women should at least be expected to put in a fraction of that effort when the character calls for it
If women get to obsessively sculpt characters like Leon Kennedy down to the muscle fibers to make him the sexiest man alive, men are allowed to have the same energy for female characters
Attractive characters are great—it’s fiction
Almost everyone who has a problem with that for women is being a massive hypocrite (and often are quite misandrist)
Someone who lives off hot Cheetos and the couch does not compare to someone who spent years on a strict diet and training to hit the perfect physique for the role. The same standard should apply across the board
