@ManuPat35985472 Great that you submitted a complaint to Action Fraud. If we can get him for that, then the option still exist to be compensated by the financial ombudsman. The more people that report to Action Fraud, the better

@ManuPat35985472 Yes, I asked my bank but they said they could not help as they were paid through bank transfer. It would have been different if paid using credit card. Did not manage to speak to metro bank but I have been told by one of the victims that he has changed bank to Lloyds.

3. Gety pictures on glossy website.
4. Quote too good to be true
5. Mailbox address at nice locations
6. Similar name to a rated company
7. Can't view 2/3 local referees

John Lepp (Elegant Construction) gave a competitive quote for a loft conversion, delayed the build until he had all my money. We are left with no roof, exposed wiring and rainwater coming into the house and no refund. Trust Pilot is blocking similar stories from victims.
