You telling me they don’t want to coach at a place where they have to raise $500k every offseason?? Strange

[Carl Prather @CarlPratherWAFF]

UAH hockey Head coach Mike Corbett and staff have resigned this morning.

The program was reinstated last week after a massive fundraising effort.

Will be devastated if @UAH_President kills our Hockey program. He cannot take away our 283 wins, 514 LOSSES and 71 ties from our historic 27 yr run in D1. Give me that 1.5 milly every year and I promise to get us in a league by 2055

Fun Fact: Did you know that UAH Hockey sold an average of 260 Season Tickets the last 3 years. Where has everyone been? Good thing is we don’t have to worry about social distancing for 260 people in a 10,000 seat arena. @UAH_President @ctalbot33

[NotTheRealEJBrophy @NotDaRealBrophy]

@JoeGoodmanJr we sure do love our Hockey!

[NotTheRealEJBrophy @NotDaRealBrophy]

I would like to take this time to personally thank all of our D2 assistants that are currently volunteering or making below minimum wage. Thank you for your service! Come by my office for a free Bojangles biscuit coupon.

Really glad y’all raising all this money for one season, I’ll be calling on each of you again next year and every year after that for this same donation. This 500k has almost covered our travel for one away series loss. #ChargeOn @UAH_President
