Plus it's not like getting blood is completely off the table for him anyways, since he can always consume Yuji's and he does carry around devils that have been shrunken down he can consume when in a pinch, at the cost of possibly erasing a concept of something important.

However, the more important question we should be asking here isn't "how many times he can regenerate" but rather "could Yuji even damage him severaly and enough times for this to be even a factor to consider in the fight". Since i remind you, Denji is much stronger than Yuji.
