We aren’t getting a 15% increase “in wages” or “salary”.
Criminal Barristers get paid set fees for pieces of work. The Government set the amount of the fee. If we aren’t at court we don’t get anything.
Out of those fees we then have to pay business costs, expenses, travel etc
