The only way you’d say this is if you don’t spend any time with your children lmao. The newborn stage, besides going into it knowing sleep is going to be absolute shit while you’re getting the routine down (10-12 weeks), is obviously the easiest.

However, the parents or boomers constantly shrieking “terrible two’s” or “threenagers” or “just wait til …” are really just selfish, lazy, negligent morons coping for their failures. Some aspects of it are simpler (way less stuff to pack, etc), but newborns aren’t comparatively more difficult by any meaningful standard
