@VigilantBats The sound of his voice had their head snap up, she sneered slowly but soon realized who it was and gave a smile.
“Hey, what’s wrong? Where’s Nevaeh?”
‘It won’t end well if you’re not going to listen.’
That voice spoke again, this time different than the one before.
She had Nevaeh in her arms, Alfred was off doing what he needed to do. Rose made her way inside of @VigilantBats’s building.
Walking over to the bank of elevators, pressing the up.
“Dada.”
Nevaeh spoke, she was nearing a year old so she was catching up.
@VigilantBats ‘Rose... let me take over.’
Her back pressed against the glass window, hands clutching her head. Biting down on her lower lip to keep from screaming.
“NO!”
Shaking her head, this was her father’s fault.
@VigilantBats Closing her good eye, she took in a few deep breaths before she stood up. “I’ll be right back.” Her voice changed as she burst from the door, nearly knocking his assistant down. She ran towards the bathroom, but she didn’t make it. Instead she made it to an abandoned meeting -
@VigilantBats “Well let’s not talk about that in front of her, she’s smart enough as it is.” Rose sat back, her hands covered her face. Even now she was holding Widow at bay.
“We should really leave both of them here, there are some that are not friendly with the baby.”
@VigilantBats “I love the lake house, pretty sure that’s where she was made or was that somewhere else...”
Smirking, he did need a shave but she liked the whole scruffy look he was going for. It was handsome and rugged, she also like the feel of it.
“What about Alfred?”
@VigilantBats “You think that’s a good idea? Remember the last time they watched her? They didn’t know what to do.”
Watching the happy baby move up and down, Rose eyed the papers.
“Where would we go?”
@VigilantBats “They’re coming back again.”
Looking away from him, she didn’t want to see the disappointment that would come. She tried her hardest to get help, but they were louder than before.
“I’m afraid..”
@VigilantBats Letting her go, so that Nevaeh can hold onto her father. Rose on the other hand went to sit in his plush chair she loved.
“I heard about that, something called Clairvoyant.”
She was trying her hardest to keep the sanity part of herself in check.
@VigilantBats “Hey babe.”
Rose accepted the hug, meanwhile their daughter cling to him with childlike giggling. Placing a kiss on both of their foreheads.
“Are you not getting enough sleep?”
@VigilantBats After exiting the elevator, she made her way over to his office. But she saw how he was handling things, feeling bad about it. She couldn’t control the alter egos like she thought she could. They were wrecking havoc on the city and her mind.
“Dada!”
