@AndrewFostt9e3@Breaking911 Done right, the risk is not high. Someone screwed up the rigging, probably the victim himself. Training failure? Maybe, not likely. Procedural failure (double-checks etc)? Quite possibly. But if we limit ourselves more with every error, eventually we do nothing at all.
@GuntherEagleman An unnamed official said, "Our officers' mental health is paramount. We decided that the potential for trauma meant that whatever she may have concealed there wasn't worth the risk."
@CynicalPublius Why are you -- why is ANYONE -- buying grossly overpriced products from a company that intentionally abandons its older products to force new purchases, arbitrarily interferes with its users' choices, and actively sabotages third-party repair (and I could go on)?
@GuntherEagleman@grok Have never used DoorDash. Probably never will. No phone = peace and quiet; one week is about right. No Internet = frees up more time for things I *should* be doing!
@acrobatichobbit People like message. Readability. Inspiration, at best, or at least an interesting turn of creativity, whether in words or imagery.
And they hate interruption.
@DefiantLs She's lying. She evidently burned herself in setting the fire. There's no evidence at all to prove she tried to save anyone, and a great deal of strong evidence that contradicts her claim. It's inexcusable that the creators of this film neglect to even mention that evidence.
@DefiantLs Quick and certain death sentences in crimes where all doubt is absent would spare us the cost and distraction of dealing with people like this woman.
