To understand Solana memecoins you have to live inside the latency. Not watch replays. Sit in the orderbook, feel the spread breathe, hear the snipers click. The game is human first, microstructure second.

Narratives do not move price alone - people performing the narrative do. Devs, callers, streamers, raid captains. You learn which voices convert attention into bids, which ones only farm impressions. That signal only shows up live.

Blocks are the unit of truth. Minutes are already history. You start seeing rhythms - first green burst, sniper unwind, retail chase, the quiet block before the knife, the bounce that is just inventory rotation. None of this reads well on a dashboard. It reads perfectly when you are there.

Edges come from fluency, not from secrets. Fluency is built by touching tape daily, journaling your entries, tagging wallets, replaying top and bottom blocks, mapping which memes travel and which die on the runway. You end up trading people and tempo more than tickers.

What matters:
- Speed with discipline - fast to enter, faster to cut, patient to size when the story is obviously compounding.
- Provenance of flow - who is seeding it, who is echoing it, who is quietly distributing into you.
- Stickiness of the bit - can this meme survive silence for a few hours or does it need constant oxygen.
- Execution hygiene - preplanned exits, size rules, no averaging down, protect mental capital first.

The trenches teach respect. Most plays are noise, some are theater, a few are real. Your job is not to catch everything. Your job is to survive long enough to recognize the few that matter, and press them like a professional.

Do not chase the screenshot. Chase understanding. When you finally get the shape of the game, you take fewer trades, feel less fear, and let winners breathe. In a market that compresses time, clarity is the only scalable edge.

Reflecting on some of my biggest trading mistakes this weekend.

For context, I'm an FA investor mostly. I find good things which are mispriced and I bid/farm them to hell. If you're a memecoin trader, skip this post ;p

The one thing I realise I've been missing most is using my founder intuition to guide my investments.

Pretty much every major loss I've had, I had a feeling from the beginning that the Founder really doesn't know how to "play the game".

Playing the game here doesn't just mean pumping the token, but really about how to grow a business and market a killer product.

Some founders aren't business minded, for example. They don't really care about making money. It doesn't matter how cool the product is, I shouldn't be investing in these.

Most importantly, some founders just don't know how to grow in web3. This is fine normally, since they can grow and figure it out, but I've seen a terrible trend of certain agencies, advisors, market makers and all sorts of other Parasites trying to max extract from founders who just don't know any better.

This kills many projects. Not because of the extraction happening but simply because the Parasites prey on the project without returning ANY value in return. Killing all potential future for the project in the process.

For a founder, finding the right agencies, market makers, etc is like walking thru a minefield. I need to pick my founders more carefully, who know how to handle the war.

The best project in the world, in the hands of the wrong founder, will crumble and die. I must remember that.
