my state income tax taken out could remodel entire floors of my house. My property tax taken out would buy me a high end appliance. Both forms of taxation are evil but in a binary, my choice is whichever nets more of my money back. Ideally abolish both.

Shop in lower tax states when it makes financial sense. Not hard for some in certain regions.
