I much prefer the new interpretation of Ada's character in the RE4 remake over the original.

RE4 Ada was quite morally grey. She flirtatious, playful, and hiding behind the shadows. Plays psychological games with Leon, teases him, help him but leaves clues behind. Also, the scene where she holds him at gunpoint at the end felt a bit too heartless for me 🥲

RE4R They really sanitized her image. She serious, deeply caring, and authentically human. And about Leon she reserved and keeps her distance to protect him, but steps in during critical moments.

But I love both version of her, That was precisely the main reason Leon couldn't move on from her for years. If there are more remakes down the line, their relationship will definitely be much more explicit. Leon isn't entirely pure white either, and Ada is no longer the dark-grey character she once was 🐶❤️🦋
