The same inflammatory media posts that helped turn CN outrage against Ao Yin/Valko are now being deleted and the antis are spiraling.

Most recently, a 法治网 / Legal Daily post framed him as “romanticizing illegal home intrusion” and declared that “online compliance is not an exception for female-oriented games.”

Now, the post has been taken down by the author!

The best part? The antis are calling it a “culture war.” (See comments)

Why? Because the narrative they used to bury him is not holding.

Here's all the hopium I'm huffing for Valko's return. 📰Here's all the hopecore that keeps me going:

- His theme songs are still up on streaming platforms.

- LADS is trending on Weibo with the most popular post being about love for Valko instead of hate (the official lads account has checked it and other posts 3 times so far)

- The dev/customer support teams have started responding to users humanely, instead of the canned template replies.

- His promotional posts are still up on social media platforms, just archived, not deleted.

- We debunked the myth that majority of their revenue comes from CN mainland - it actually comes from global so they really do have to listen to us because

- Revenue is still dropping.

- Hate campaign perpetrators got arrested or warned by the police in mainland China.

- More sisters in CN are openly posting showing their support for Valko's addition across all social media platforms. Their voices are drowning out the haters on their own platforms.

- This campaign has turned out to also be for a good cause with donations being made to the animal conservancies, shelters and adoption programs.

- People making new accounts just to join us in the campaign.

- People who stopped playing have come out of hiatus to support the cause.

- People outside the fandom are showing their support.

- Valko still trending worldwide 7 DAYS IN with over a million posts!

From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for the endless amounts of love shown to me for my Valko cosplay.

My goal with this cosplay was to support him, be a walking presence for him at AX since they removed the official cosplayer, offer special interactions to MCs who wanted them (since the official ones were canceled) and to do my best to cheer up anyone upset with the news of his cancelation.

This was a huge labor of love for me and I am so grateful and amazed at the response. I didnt expect anything of this, I just wanted to make people around me happy by being a positive presence during a sad time for some.

Words cannot properly express my gratitude. Anyone who took a photo with me, gave me a gift, said hi, came to the speed date event, came to the dance and danced with me or just waved in passing. I appreciate you all so so much.

I've seen your comments and messages and I wish I could reply to each and everyone of you, know I do see you.

You made my AX unforgettable and I hope I was able to add any positivity to your week.
